EAPCI

The European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI) was formed in 2006 as a result of an agreement signed between the ESC Working Group on Interventional Cardiology and EuroPCR. The agreement was approved at the ESC General Assembly held at the World Congress of Cardiology 2006 in Barcelona.
The EAPCI has been created to promote the development of a defined area of expertise in cardiovascular medicine and/or research.
As such, EuroPCR is the official congress of the EAPCI.

Mission of the EAPCI:

To reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease in Europe through percutaneous cardiovascular interventions.

To free ourselves from preconceived ideas, accept facts, integrate novelty and build a team concept, whilst sharing experience and expertise across the artificial boundaries of disciplines.

Journal of the EAPCI:

EuroIntervention  is the official journal of the EAPCI.

EuroIntervention is an international, English language, peer-reviewed journal which strives to create a forum of high quality research and education in the field of percutaneous and surgical cardiovascular interventions.
