Symposia aim to develop themes through state-of-the-art lectures and present clear synthesis of studies and trials.  They should allow attendees to leave with practical solutions to patient/lesion problems.

1. The chairperson defines the starting situation, presents the objectives and the outline of the symposium.
2. Four talks are presented by 4 different speakers (4 x 15 minutes).
3. 20-minute discussion between the panellists and audience.
4. Take-home message by the chairperson.
