Based on a concept from EuroIntervention Journal, these sessions establish a real dialogue between the speaker and two experts.


How should I treat? sessions aim to present a challenging case to an interventionalist and a surgeon who share their opinions on the treatment and management of the patient.

 

A very interactive session based on 2 cases of 40 minutes each with Q&A between the speaker, the experts and the audience.

This session involves a chairperson, two speakers (one for each case) and two experts.

 

  • Organisation & scenario


Session structure:

  1. Introduction by the chairperson (5 minutes) - Case 1: 40 minutes - Case 2: 40 minutes
  2. Take-home message by the chairperson (5 minutes)

 

Scenario of each case:

  1. Presentation of the case (5 minutes) - The speaker presents the case and outlines the different treatment options.
  2. How should I treat?(5 minutes each) - Each expert explains how he would treat the case according to the information presented by the speaker.
  3. How did I treat? (10 minutes) - The speaker presents how he actually treated the patient.
  4. Discussion with the experts, speakers audience led by the chairperson (10 minutes)
  5. Consensus on the best treatment option for the patient (5 minutes)

 

Duration: 90 minutes
Room capacity: 80 or 140 seats

€ 25,000* VAT excl. (VAT rate: 19,6%)


* This rate does not include the registration fee and travel/accommodation of the chairperson and speakers.

In order to support an educational scientific session, you must be an exhibitor (minimum 36m2). All requests must be approved by the EuroPCR Board of Directors who reserves the right to refuse an application and/or modify the content and/or speakers proposed.

 

Full payment upon receipt of invoice. No reimbursement in case of cancellation.
